Q. I was a walk-on for a class. When should I expect my completion card?
A. You should receive your completion card 7-10 business days after the last day of your class.

Q. Do you provide motorcycles and helmets for the Basic BRT class?
A. Yes, TEAM OREGON provides training motorcycles and helmets that are DOT approved for the class.

Q. What kind of training bikes do you provide?
A. TEAM OREGON provides training bikes that range in size from 125-250 cc.

Q. How can I get into a class sooner?
A. You have the option of trying to be a walk-on, which means showing up early on the first night of class for any "no-show" spots that might be available. If you are accepted into the class and pass, you should receive your completion card in the mail within 7-10 business days after the last day of your class. See "What to Bring" under rider training and be prepared to pay for the class.  If you are under 18, your parent or guardian will need to sign a waiver form (this will be given at the first night class session).

Q. Which course is right for me, the BRT or IRT?
A. The BRT is for beginning riders, and is our most popular course. This course is designed for the novice rider with no prior motorcycle experience. If you have your own motorcycle (or you can use one of ours), are over 21 years old and have some experience or are returning to the sport, the IRT is most likely the right course for you. >We provide motorcycles and helmets for both the BRT and IRT courses.

Q. What is the difference between the RSP and the ART course?
A. The RSP is a one day practice session for riders of all experience levels looking to sharpen their cornering, braking and emergency maneuvering skills under the helpful eye of a professional rider training coach.   Whether you are new to motorcycling or have been riding for years, Rider Skills Practice will take your skills to the next level.

The ART course is for experienced and endorsed riders who have completed the BRT, IRT, or RSP. ART emphasizes the real-world application of a variety of techniques. By incorporating more than one corner into an exercise, students can work on smoothness, judgment, and appropriate "lines" through a variety of corners. This class is conducted on a go-cart track, but is not a high-speed, racing-oriented class.

Q.  I was offered a Retest.  How do I schedule it and what else do I need to know?
A. To schedule a retest, phone TEAM OREGON @ 1-800-545-9944 the week following your class.  Note: you must use your retest option within 60 days of taking the course.  If you do not show up for a scheduled retest, you may NOT reschedule for a later date.  Students wishing to complete training or testing after 60 days must register and pay again.

Q.  The brochure lists two range times for the BRT, A & B.  How do I choose the one that works best for me?
A. Group range assignments are made at the first classroom session.  There is no guarantee that you will get the assignment you want.  No exceptions.
